Parent /
Adult Chaperone Requirements:
Please
remember that for each group of five (5) Cub Scout Ranks one (1) adult
chaperone is required. So if your pack
has eight (8) Wolfs, three (3) Bears, and two (2) WEBELOS attending you would
need two (2) Parent / Adult Chaperones to walk with the Wolfs, one (1) for the
Bears, and one (1) for the WEBELOS, for a grand total of four (4). If a chaperone can only come for 1 day or a
half of a day, there MUST be a replacement chaperone for the other times.
Parent/Adult Chaperones are who we depend on to help fulfill the 2-deep
leadership for the dens every day of the session. Adult Chaperones do not have to be the parent/guardian. We routinely have grandparents, aunts,
uncles, babysitters, etc. As long as
they are over 18, approved by the parent/guardian and can walk around in the
sun, they are OK.

Each session is identical as far as program is concerned.
When determining which session to attend please choose one the works best for
your Pack Families.
The following activities will be offered on both the first
and second day of the session: BB Guns, Archery, Swimming, and Lakefront
activities (rafts or fanoes), and Den Time (a chance to work on a skit or song
for the closing camp fire and visit the trading post)
Lunch is a brown bag and we are working on a themed special
event during lunch.
Day three of both sessions will consist of Pool, Field
Sports, and Water Slide. Immediately following Flag lowering a family meal
(hotdogs and burgers) and camp fire program will be held.
Each Scout will receive a hand out outlining the “possibilities”
for rank advancement, electives, achievements, or activity pins based upon your
Scouts participation will determine his electability.
Pre-Registration
We will be doing a pre-check in once again this year. Please come out on Sunday, June 18 between
1-3pm. Please report to Atwater
building.
What does pre-check involve:
·
Swim checks, both scout and
adults. (We need adult chaperones to
pass the swim test so we can run water wars on the lake.)· Pick up t-shirts.
· Go over med forms.
Once you have completed pre-check in, you will report to the picnic tables between Atwater and Trading to be verified, then go to the flag pole, there you will receive your name badges and mugs and sign-in scouts.
Please stay tuned for more info as the time gets closer.
