Day Camp forms were mailed out to all current Tiger, Wolf scouts.  There is a correction on the pricing for Tiger Adventure day for MOE Day camp.  Cost is actually $30.  Please see Tiger Adventure Day Flier for more details.

Letter to all Cubmasters and pack coordinators:

Cubmasters and Pack Day-Camp Coordinators,

This year’s theme for MOE District Cub Scout Day Camp 2015 is Knights of the Round Table. Many theme related activities are already in progress for all programs, i.e.: Archery, BBs, Knots, Cooking, Crafts, Games, Skills, Skits, Songs, and … not to mention our plans to just have FUN!!!
Program Dates, Times and Fees:

We are currently scheduled for two sessions of Day Camp this year.

Session I: July 6-8, 2015

Session II: July 9-11, 2015

New Tiger Adventure Day: July 11, 2015 (Please see Tiger Adventure Day Flier for details)

Camp Fees:

Camp fees include a camp T-shirt, a commemorative event patch, camp mug, and covers the expenses for the use of our camp facilities, event and program equipment, special program guests and other necessary Camp needs.

Camp fees for scouts and participating siblings (age 7 (2nd grade)-10) are $65 for those who register
prior to May 18. Participating siblings K-1st grade are $55 as they will not be allowed to use the ranges (BB and Archery Range).  If you register between May 19-June 1, the fees are $80. After June 1, no guarantee on T-shirts. Please, no registrations after June 9.

***We are continuing our security policy that ALL adult chaperones WILL be required to pay a
registration fee of $10 and receive a free t-shirt. Non-participating siblings will remain FREE.
Additional t-shirts may be purchased for $10 ($13 for 2XL & 3XL).***

Family meal tickets are included in the scout registration this year up to 4 meal tickets per paid
registration (including scout and participating sibling). Any above the 4 family meal tickets will have to purchase a meal ticket for $5 each. Family meal typically includes: hamburger or hot dog, baked
beans, salad, juice/water to drink. Snow cones will be for sale for a $1.

Online registrations go live April 15. We are accepting registrations from individuals with chaperone or pack registrations. Go to www.scoutingevent.com?moedc2015 to register online.

Parent / Adult Chaperone Requirements:
Please remember that for each group of five (5) Cub Scout Ranks one (1) adult chaperone is required. So if your pack has eight (8) Wolfs, three (3) Bears, and two (2) WEBELOS attending you would need two (2) Parent / Adult Chaperones to walk with the Wolfs, one (1) for the Bears, and one (1) for the WEBELOS, for a grand total of four (4). If a chaperone can only come for 1 day or a half of a day, there MUST be a replacement chaperone for the other times. Parent/Adult Chaperones are who we depend on to help fulfill the 2-deep leadership for the dens every day of the session. Adult Chaperones do not have to be the parent/guardian.

We routinely have grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters, etc. As long as they are over 18, approved by the parent/guardian and can walk around in the sun, they are OK.
Look forward to seeing you at Day Camp this year!!!

Pre-Registration
We will be doing a pre-check in once again this year. Please come out on Sunday, July 5 between 1-3pm.  Please report to Atwater building.

What does pre-check in involve:

Swim checks, both scout and adults. (We need adult chaperones to pass the swim test so we can run water wars on the lake.)

Pick up t-shirts.

Go over med forms.

Once you have completed pre-check in, you will report to the picnic tables between Atwater and Trading to be verified, then go to the flag pole, there you will receive your name badges and mugs and sign-in scouts.

Please stay tuned for more info as the time gets closer.

Early bird deadline fast approaching.  Get your registrations in by end of day April 30.
